This is part of the Flashback sequence from Stech Issue One.
This is where Stech meets with the Lizard guy, whose name I can't remember.
These are characters from the black and white series "The Eradicators".
It was the first material that Ron Lim worked on.
There are a lot of comicbook guys around the area.
We were young and some of us were pretty stupid.
I trusted Kris Silver and I spent money I couldn't afford to produce a comicbook.
I had no ownership rights of any sort, not that I wanted any!
Nor was I getting paid for the work.
It wouldn't have been so bad if He had bought my materials.
He bought a pad of paper once.
And told me it was coming out of my future pay!
So I'm grinding away at this book and he wants it now.
I tell him it's not ready.
So he comes to my parents' house to threaten me into giving him the artwork.
Since he really hadn't paid me, I didn't think he had right to the art.
Nor did his performance on my parents' lawn make me respect his position.
He brought a large black guy with him as an enforcer.
So remember kiddies, get paid for your time, and get supplies, and expect respect.
To continue the story, while Stech is confronting the lizard guy.
Another member of the team, Lance, is teleporting in the background.
These guys join with two earthlings to form the Eradicators.
