This is a sketch of the ever popular mutant maniac Wolverine. I drew this for a friend's sons. She was working downtown at the same time I was working downtown. Back when I had a real job. Now I just stand in front of supermarkets holding my sign: "will draw comics for food" Wolverine is still one of the most popular convention sketches that I draw. Visually Wolverine is fun. He has a lot of room for individual interpretation. Although I tend to like the Halcyon days of John Byrne's Xmen. Like Xmen 113, I think, when they were in the Savage Land. Yeah baby! You don't get that type of line work no more. Those figures had weight and substance. And feet. Not those fake triangle thingies. A good artist should be able to draw feet. Or make a figure look like they can stand up without falling over. To return to the x sketches home page press hither. To return to the table of contents press thither.
